size & fit guide
Support should feel snug. Not like it hates you.
StepSpring uses adjustable straps so you can set the fit before stairs, errands, or standing back up. Start snug, test slowly, then adjust.
How to wear StepSpring
1. Open front forward
Place the open front around your kneecap area.
2. Springs behind the knee
The spring hardware belongs behind the knee area, not on the front.
3. Strap lower, then upper
Fasten the straps until the support feels steady without cutting in.
4. Sit, bend, stand
Test the fit slowly. If it slides, pinches, or rubs, adjust before wearing longer.
Fit rule: snug enough to stay in place, loose enough that your leg still feels normal.

Quick fit checks
- Kneecap centered in the open front.
- Rear springs placed behind the knee area.
- Straps flat, not twisted.
- Secure during a slow bend, sit, and stand.
- No numbness, tingling, coldness, sharp pinching, rubbing, or swelling.
- Remove it if your skin feels irritated or your leg feels weird. Do not tough-guy it.
